Aleishe Baska ’05 is lecturing instructor in the School of Baking and Pastry at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, NY, where she has been a faculty member since 2018. At the CIA, Chef Baska teaches Baking and Pastry Techniques, Baking Ingredients and Equipment Technology, Basic and Classical Cakes, Baking and Pastry Skill Development, Contemporary Cakes and Desserts, Advanced Baking Principles and Advanced Pastry courses. Prior to joining the faculty at the CIA, she was a pastry instructor at the International Culinary Center in New York City and has experience working in the pastry departments of several New York City restaurants ranging from upscale casual to Michelin-starred.  Aleishe has bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology from Macalester College in addition to her CIA degree.
