Maddie Southard, MA is communications director for the Environmental Defense Fund’s (EDF) Climate Resilient Fisheries and Oceans Program. She leads an integrated advocacy campaign focused on supporting policies that provide healthy and sustainable seafood for all Americans. Before joining EDF, Maddie created a diverse set of communications at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program. She previously led communications for the Florida Wildlife Corridor, an organization advocating for a statewide network of lands and waters that supports wildlife protection.
