Nevielle Panthaky ’03, MBA is vice president and head of culinary for Chipotle Mexican Grill. He is responsible for leading the Culinary, Innovation, and Commercialization teams at the company. Nevielle brings a lifelong understanding, appreciation, and passion for sustainable culinary and hospitality to the iconic fast casual brand. Nevielle joined Chipotle in 2018 and has since upgraded the Chipotle core menu to include Queso Blanco, Super Greens Salad, and Quesadillas. He has also launched the award-winning Lifestyle Bowls, Carne Asada, Brisket, Cilantro-Lime Cauliflower Rice, Plant Based Chorizo, and most recently Chicken al Pastor to Chipotle menus globally. Looking ahead, the Nevielle is testing a suite of new food and beverage offerings in select markets and rolled out a line of certified organic beverages from farmer-founded Tractor Beverage Co. in summer 2020. Prior to joining Chipotle, Nevielle served as vice president of culinary for DINE Brands Global and as vice president of culinary for PF Chang’s & Pei Wei Asian Diner. His extensive career experience includes executive chef roles at Swiss Chalet and Milestones in Canada and Bengal Coast Restaurant in Dallas, where Nevielle’s food and creativity were recognized by The Dallas Observer. From working alongside Danny Meyer and Chef Floyd Cardoz in New York, to spending time at the Historical Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, Nevielle has experience working in kitchens across the country. His culinary influences aren’t limited to the United States, as Nevielle brings global experience having spent time in Canada, England, India, the U.A.E., and Zambia. Nevielle attended The Culinary Institute of America, where he received a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts and completed a fellowship in classical French cuisine at the Escoffier Restaurant.
