Niyeti Shah

Niyeti Shah, MPH is founder of the Food Systems Collective, a community hub for food systems leaders. Recently, Niyeti led a coalition of 70+ organizations to introduce and pass the Food Donation Improvement Act - legislation that encourages food donations and food recovery. Niyeti is now leading the cross-sector implementation of the Act, including creating a food recovery map and resource hub with the Food Recovery Network. Previously, Niyeti has served as senior manager of social impact at WW and as associate director at the Milken Institute’s Center for Public Health, on food procurement policy and improving access to WIC. Niyeti received her BA in human health from Emory University and her MPH in public health nutrition from George Washington University. (Washington, D.C.)
